“My degree, my country, and my world”

In my life I have many goals. In childhood my main ambition is to be a doctor. Because of that I was enter to A/L Biology. By the way I was understood this is not an easy task. But I did my best in the final examination.

Bu the way the A/L results were released and unfortunately I haven’t get enough results for enter the medical faculty. But I can enter to university. When I was see my results I though if I cannot enter the medical faculty I will get a job. But my family members and teachers told me after you get the degree you can do better job. Because of that I started applied biology degree programme in faculty of applied sciences in Rajarata university of Sri Lanka.

In the university I know lot of thing about society which are cannot get in family. I learn how to fight for get our win our rights. I spent 2 years of my university life. I have remaining only one year my university life. Now I think my university life and degree programme is the best goals in my life.

When I pass out the university I can get a job. if I get any kind of job I will serve to my country by using I studied thigs. Because that is our authority and responsibility.

It is generally a three year degree program and, if any student wish to follow four year special degree that student can follow it according to their GPA value. During these three years I have to learn many subjects. Some of them are Web technology, Internet programming, Software engineering etc. In my degree program I’m allowing to learn not only ICT related subjects, but also subjects like Marketing, Professional English which are related to other fields. Actually it is a good guidance to my future life. In Sri Lanka, there are so many IT companies that we can give our service and get a high salary such as Millennium IT, WSO2, Vertusa Polaris.
