A higher university education gives us the advantage to lead ourselves in any direction we want to proceed in life. University is a time that we can truly become individuals. So we have the opportunity to become more independent and to take on new responsibilities. University experiences help us to truly find ourselves through personal growth. Higher education is good for many things in today's world. Higher education will expose us to people, ideas, and topics that we would never encounter in University.
I’m an Undergraduate in bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at Rajarata University Of Sri Lanka .A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology holds an excellent value for the career of students who are aiming to pursue the field of technology as a career. The course will hone our skills in computer coding, installing and maintaining System and fundamental understanding of the hardware and software .Information Technology is one of the fastest growing fields in the world.  A degree in Information Technology will help us learn a lot of things relevant to our career. This will go a long way in helping us to be efficient in the IT field. There is a skills gap the world over when it comes to technology. IT graduate jobs pay well compared to many other areas.
After completing my degree in Information Technology I plan on to be an IT consultant. I plan to get work experience and contacts and after few years I will move on to start my own IT firm. My IT firm will provide millions of opportunities to become programmers, developers. In many other countries, education is prohibited, especially to women. As a woman I would like to Say that I’m Proud of our country which has given us and make the most of our educational experience, and eventually make the most of our careers. In that scenario I plan on increasing the number of female technologists in the IT sector because nowadays there were few women developers, programmers.
Actually bachelor’s degree in Information Technology graduates earns higher salaries. They grads join a fast growing industry. This type of degree holders work in a wide range of industries. The last component that I hope to gain from university degree is a great life experience that I will never forget.

So if we need a good job, we may have load of qualifications. So my degree is BSc. General in Applied science (Biological Science). My target is finding a good job. It is generally a three year degree program and, if any student wish to follow four year special degree that student can follow it according to their GPA value. During these three years I have to learn many subjects. Some of them are Web technology, Internet programming, Software engineering etc. In my degree program I’m allowing to learn not only ICT related subjects, but also subjects like Marketing, Professional English which are related to other fields. Actually it is a good guidance to my future life. In Sri Lanka, there are so many IT companies that we can give our service and get a high salary such as Millennium IT, WSO2, Vertusa Polaris.
