My degree , my country , my world

I'm a student of Rajarata University , studying BSc degree in Applied Biology.The top most way to access the world is education.Education is the only thing that cannot be stolen by anyone. My degree has been designed to meet the current needs in job field.The general degree is running for 3 years and students who are eligible for doing special degree programme in relevant specified area can complete their degree in 4 years. Practical knowledge gained through the degree help to achieve a god job in our country.It is easy to find jobs in government sector as well as private sector.Sri Lanka is a biodiversity hub.Many jobs have been created along with the ecological , historical, phytosociological aspects of country.During our degree programme we got huge knowledge about our surrounding including animals , plants , environmental factors , behaviours of living and non living components , their interactions , diversity and so on. This degree supplies and covers important applicable subject matters needed in todays world.This is because during our degree upmost time is given to practical sessions.
        Not only that chemistry is a trendy subject in modern world.Here in the university ,a series of  practicals were conducted in each year under the guidance of our academic staff .That practical  experiences are very helpful in finding good jobs in laboratories and also in leading industries.
            At the same time , after completing my degree there are many pathways to get higher education in a well qualified university in a foreign country.And also can find jobs with good salaries in other countries.
        After completing my degree I can serve my country as well as the world .I hope to join with a leading company and start my career life.

During these three years I have to learn many subjects. Some of them are Web technology, Internet programming, Software engineering etc. In my degree program I’m allowing to learn not only ICT related subjects, but also subjects like Marketing, Professional English which are related to other fields. Actually it is a good guidance to my future life. In Sri Lanka, there are so many IT companies that we can give our service and get a high salary such as Millennium IT, WSO2, Vertusa Polaris.
