MY DEGREE, MY COUNTRY AND MY WORLD

       The nature is made up of both living and nonliving matter.We study about them through science.I am a biological science student of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and following a general degree in biological sciences.Through that we study about Botany,Zoology and Physics.Mainly we study about structure and function of both plants and animals.Not only the theoretical knowledge,we have many practical sessions which improve our skills and practical knowledge.
       Through this study we can do a great service to my country as well as whole world.We can study about the biodiversity of the country and can take steps to conserve the flora and fauna.Not only that,also we can be good teachers who give knowledge to large number of school children.
      Some of us can become scientists who invent new things to the world and all human communities.Also can give economic support to the development of the country and help to find control measures to overcome critical environmental issues like global warming,climatic changes,ozone depletion etc.
       A graduate comes out of the university is a special person having attitudinal change,capable of working with communities cooperatively. By considering all above mentioned factors,I think we can do a great service.So I am very happy about being a science student.Let's do the best,to do a service to the country and whole world.

I’m following Bachelor of Information and Technology in Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. It is generally a three year degree program and, if any student wish to follow four year special degree that student can follow it according to their GPA value. During these three years I have to learn many subjects. Some of them are Web technology, Internet programming, Software engineering etc. In my degree program I’m allowing to learn not only ICT related subjects, but also subjects like Marketing, Professional English which are related to other fields. Actually it is a good guidance to my future life. In Sri Lanka, there are so many IT companies that we can give our service and get a high salary such as Millennium IT, WSO2, Vertusa Polaris.
