It’s an individual writing task. The topic of the writing is: “My degree, my country, and my world”.
You are expected to describe your degree, its relevance to Sri Lanka, and to its economy. You can also explain the position of you (your individual identity), and your degree in today’s world. That’s what I meant by ‘my world’. 
Your writing should be around 200 to 300 words in length. Be honest and write your own ideas. Only the blog members can see your writing once uploaded. Pay attention to spellings, punctuation, discourse markers, and paragraphing.
You have to upload your writing to the blog on or before September 30. You get 10 marks (maximum) for this assignment. If you have any questions you can ask when we meet.

I’m following Bachelor of Information and Technology in Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. It is generally a three year degree program and, if any student wish to follow four year special degree that student can follow it according to their GPA value. During these three years I have to learn many subjects. Some of them are Web technology, Internet programming, Software engineering etc. In my degree program I’m allowing to learn not only ICT related subjects, but also subjects like Marketing, Professional English which are related to other fields.
