My degree, my country, my world 
    We can't be success without an ambition. So I had an ambition to be a doctor. But I couldn't do it and I selected to this degree. However now I'm a second year undergraduate student of faculty of applied sciences in Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. Applied sciences  is a discipline that is used to existing scientific knowledge to develop more practical applications. In natural science, basic science is used to develop information to explain phenomenon in the natural world. Actually I'm proud to doing this degree.
    Applied sciences take results of research in the pure sciences like Physics and Mathematics, and  use them to actually create new technologies, new social processes, new materials and medical treatments, introduce those new scientific concepts into society and exploit them to our advantage.
    I'm doing Physics, Chemistry and Zoology as my subjects. Physics is one of the most difficult subject taught in schools. Physics remains an integral part of the educational system. Society's reliance on technology represents the importance of Physics in daily life. Modern transportation, such as aircraft and telecommunication, have drawn people across the world colser together all relying on concepts in Physics.
    It is very important for us to understanding the importance of Chemistry. Chemistry play a major role in our world like food industry, agriculture, hygiene, decor, transportation and environment etc.
     So actually I think my degree is very important to maintainance of our country and world. And I'm very proud about my degree.

I’m following Bachelor of Information and Technology in Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. It is generally a three year degree program and, if any student wish to follow four year special degree that student can follow it according to their GPA value. During these three years I have to learn many subjects. Some of them are Web technology, Internet programming, Software engineering etc. In my degree program I’m allowing to learn not only ICT related subjects, but also subjects like Marketing, Professional English which are related to other fields. Actually it is a good guidance to my future life. In Sri Lanka, there are so many IT companies that we can give our service and get a high salary such as Millennium IT, WSO2, Vertusa Polaris.
