My Degree My Country My World



When I start to think and write about this topic, I close my eyes and ask myself -  
 How about my degree? , How about my Country? , How about my World?

 I am unable to explain it at first because I get so many answers. But at the end of my thinking I get only one answer for those three questions, is a miracle. Yes, my world that I get a breath, my country that I live, my degree that I love all are miracles. Yes of course.
I was born in a small village. My parents were not much educated not much rich at that time. But they wished success in their life via me. They fertilized me affection, education, resources everything what I need.

My father wished to see me as a doctor. As like a combination of dark and light, I hate bio stream my goal is not to hang a stethoscope on my hand. But with the force of my father I tried to sit on my A level exam in bio stream. But that god gave another fortune for me also. I chose ICT as one of the subjects  in bio stream .That is the reason I am here as an ICT student in Rajaratta university..
Information Technology Is my favorite field and it is now behaving like a hero in this world. With the arriving of information technology, our Srilanka develops in many tools. As like Srilanka consider the pearl of the ocean , Srilanka make so many educated pearls using information technology .There is a high demand for Srilankan students in the foreign countries.

If we do our works in our finger tips ,it is because of the Information and Technology . We are able to do the works with much ease .It connects all the world within a second.my degree makes me  full fill in it field. I want to thank to Rajaratta madtha to give such a good fortune for me. And I am very proud to be a Srilankan with having an ICT degree.My degree is miracle my country is miracle my world is miracle. Thank you god for let me into this miracle life .

I’m following Bachelor of Information and Technology in Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. It is generally a three year degree program and, if any student wish to follow four year special degree that student can follow it according to their GPA value. During these three years I have to learn many subjects. Some of them are Web technology, Internet programming, Software engineering etc. In my degree program I’m allowing to learn not only ICT related subjects, but also subjects like Marketing, Professional English which are related to other fields. Actually it is a good guidance to my future life. In Sri Lanka, there are so many IT companies that we can give our service and get a high salary such as Millennium IT, WSO2, Vertusa Polaris.
